I don't know what to do, should I install 32bit and have sync of install 64bit and no sync

Do you sync to another source like Exchange? If no, then go 32bit as MS recommends. Otherwise knock yourself out with 64bit.

I'm putting 32 bit on lappy and 64bit on gaming PC.

Maybe you can setup your own Exchange server. ::

actually was considering that, since i got free access to Exchange 2010.

typical MS, embracing 64bit by removing features that many people use. Great way of supporting their phone devices.

Disc versions might have multiple versions on disc and the key just tells it what to install? Kinda like Windows.

Most likely the Disc version has both 32bit and 64 bit but that would only account to about 1.33GB. So maybe it has some of the other apps or demo apps + regional language translations etc.
