SC2 Beta Key Pre-Order

Didn't see this anywhere so sorry if it's been posted. I know a lot of us have wanted in for a while and I found out today that Gamestop is giving away keys for pre-ordering Star Craft 2. If you were thinking of pre-ordering or already have pre-ordered you'll be able to get a key.

I actually did it on-line because you can get the Collectors Edition for $85 shipped. Cheaper if you don't mind the free slower shipping. If you decide to pre-order it online you'll need to throw in a cheap .99 pre-owned game to jump it up to over $100 but it's worth it. The code to type in is 25OFF.

Happy gaming to those interested, I haven't heard of any other stores doing any beta key pre-order deals but that doesn't mean that they wont. I know some don't like Gamestop. I just wanted a key and knew I'd be buying the game anyways. See you all in beta!

Cool, yeah downloading now. You get the keys faster if you go into the store, you have to wait 24 hours for the online key.

Charges you when you pick it up.

In store you need to at least put $5 down. On-Line charges you when it ships, but you can't cancel once you receive a key.

As for steam not sure but I highly doubt it since Blizzard has their own on-line management system in Battle.net but I could be wrong.

God...people think that if SC2 was on Steam it would conflict with B.net and b.net social method.........................

I think people have played MW2 on steam and think thats how every game works in Steam....

Pre-ordered 2 copies of the regular edition so I could use the 25% off coupon. I have a feeling these keys are going to get used up quick. Gamestop probably has like 2000 keys to give away.

If anyone wants to go in with me (for the 25% off coupon) I'll give you one of the beta keys and I'll mail you the game when it arrives for me for $55 shipped.

If they run out of keys I'll probably sell one on ebay.
