I am running CentOS 5.2 with an FX3700 card configured for 3D Vision stereo (Option "Stereo" "10"). It works very well with my Samsung Syncmaster 2233 monitor. Stereo is superb with no ghosting. However, the monitor is always really bright and the controls for brightness/contrast are locked out. I use the same monitor/FX3700 card under Windows XP and do not have this issue. Only when I open an OpenGL application in XP does the monitor go extra bright, in preparation for viewing in stereo with the shutter glasses.
Any ideas how to get this same behavior under Linux? If I am just programing, I have to wear sunglasses so as not to get a headache! Output from bug report log attached. |
