Any of you guys know a good video editing software that's better than Windows Movie Maker? Movie Maker compresses my HD game videos too much and also messes with the aspect ratio which creates 1inch black borders around my youtube videos.

I like Power Director, even though I only understand about 5% of it's capabilities.

I use this. It's awesome but, like Smee, I only utilize about a fraction of it's true potential.

I have tried Adobe Premiere and I must say that if you are doing HD videos do yourself a favor and use Sony Vegas. Faster rendering and no issues.

yeah, premiere is a pain in an ass. didn't even let me important certain files, had to seperate video and audio to elementary streams, and import them seperatly, then audio sync issues started happening.

Free would be better. I am using the trial version of Sony Vegas Movie HD and it's perfect and not expensive at all. Under $40.
