Default Omni ALC review

These are designed to be quiet which is why it probably doesn't cool as well as real water cooling. But if it works and keeps temps down and quiet then you have kickass 470/480 system.

They plan to have SLI versions but only for 2. The 2 SLI version will have a double radiator. 240 I think. Don't know if they'll support 3 way sli. But you could always get a double and single cooler to do that. For $200 it better last for 5 years at least.

I think the single 120 size Radiator is struggling. The temps weren't that impressive. They should had had an option for a dual fan 240 setup.

My thinking is this isn't suppose to be as good as normal water cooling, but a quiet cooling solution that's easy to do for cooling very hot cards like 480/470. I'm sure it would probably cool better if the cooler was on the outside. I measured the exhaust of my computer. 78F (25c), so 78F air going thru the radiator vs using 70F (22c) air instead. Its going to be a tight fit in my p183. Only problem I see is the cpu heatsink which is quite huge getting in the way of the hoses.

The more I think about this water cooler the more it sucks. With 13c temp drops from air cool full loads. And this thing is going to be priced at $200. I bet thermalrights air cool solution will beat those full load temps easy and be much more quiet and wont cost any where near $200.
