Wait for a patch or 4 seems to be the way to go for this game. Bloodlines does indeed seem to be a direct sister of this game.

If a patch or two doesn't come along to fix some of the rather obvious issues with this game, it should drop in price rather quickly. I'd wait a while.

I think everybody is doing the same... waiting for some other mindless drone to lay 50 bucks down on this lol.

I bought it because I love Obsidian and have liked many games in the past with technical issues cited in reviews.
Installing now, I'll post comments later.

You guys are review slaves.
Bad news though: no in-game AA and forcing it through nHancer screws up the dialogue HUD.

Well I can say right now after only an hour or so that this is an awesome, awesome game buried underneath mounds of buggy, unpolished technical stuff. Pretty much what one would expect from Obsidian. If you are the type who could love a buggy unpolished game for it's core gameplay and story, grab this up. If not, stay away.
As for what kind of game it is, think Splinter Cell: The RPG. The aiming is exactly like Deus Ex. Exactly.
