so yes, another overhyped consolized game using the rubbish UE3 engine
It doesn't use the UE3 engine, it uses the id tech 4 engine. UE3 is pretty damn good, Bulletstorm really made great use of it.

If they complain about a game and have a girlfriend, it means that they have deeper issues that a game patch will never fix.

I don't like how some games are pushed out WAY before they are completed, and I will state that, but there is no way I will continue to complain about the game--and still play it.

Some of you guys really need to step away from the computer and go find a girlfriend.
It would be nice if I could actually play the game I paid $40 for above 20fps. Would be nice too if that game supported my common resolution. Maybe if the sound didn't cut out at random times too, I could play brink.

When I was saying I was getting 30 FPS last night that must have been some sort of glitch with hosting a game (possibly connected to the data rate it sends to other players?)

Online I was running at 60+ FPS at 1920x1200. I think a patch will improve performance quite a bit.

The sound issue is REALLY annoying.

I understand that games have their issues, and I'm not saying not to relay that here. What I am saying is that people are crying about things that nvnews have no control over. There's a difference between posting about a problem, and nagging about an issue.

Yeah, you can do that, but then it just stretches everything to the higher ress.

Why complain about people complaining about a game in a thread dedicated to it?

Seems like an ATI issue for the low FPS. I'm not sure about the sound issue, but I have no trouble with the sound, but then again I have a Creative Sound Blaster. Maybe they just didn't optimize it well. Give it a patch or two. It's a great game.

Because most of the people complaining don't own the game and are just repeating the same **** over and over.
