32bit iTunes crap cannot communicate with 64bit Office. This is Apple problem, not MS one.

Btw, Outlook 2010 is much faster than 2007 version. Starts within 1 second with 2GB+ mailbox. I love it

Yup....that was the problem. I uninstalled the 64-bit office and installed 32-bit. Working like a charm. Thanks!

I didn't do a screenshot, but it was a regular pop-up error box that stated "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client." All is well now that I have uninstalled the 64-bit version.
