I've installed Fedora 13 with all current updates. My card works okay with the nouveau driver, but I'd really prefer the proprietary drivers because of the reduced fan noise.
I've tried installing the Nvidia drivers from rpmfusion, carefully following the instructions, but am unable to get X started with them installed. I'll attach the log files I obtained from the computer; they should be obviously labeled. I've since removed the drivers, so I can get some work done, but I'd be more than willing to try again if anyone has some good suggestions. Interestingly, I used to have Fedora 12 working with an older kernel and older Nvidia drivers working on this same machine. This setup broke after an upgrade. I'm not sure of the exact versions that worked, but, if helpful, I can give some ballpark ideas of timeframe. Let me know. |

Any suggestions from anyone? Is there something about my configuration that is unsupported?
