Screen corruption (32x32 squares..)

Ubuntu 10.04 with GTX 260 (also in list below):

This is what is happening when my screen changes or something happens (scroll on certain sites usually do it):

I really would like some support with this. I have the most current driver, I've tried a lot of things unsuccessfully. Please help.

Does the same pattern happen in the console or on windos? If yes->hardware. If not, does it happen with all kinds of window managers (compositing/OpenGL/..)? Bug report could be helpful, too.

It happens sometimes on window borders and sometimes in the middle of an app. I'm pretty sure I narrowed it down to only happening with 3d stuff is rendering.

I had composite stuff off but I ran glxgears and it still appeared. It's pretty random though when it happens.

Also my computer doesn't crash or anything, it all works like normal. Would a bug report even work in this case?
