Epic is waiting for the next generation of consoles to launch. Capps states, ""Looking at the next generation, it's really murky compared to last time." He adds, "... if you look at what's happening in the PC market – Larrabee and all that – it's really taking off, and I think the jump to next generation's going to be another really big one, which is great for tech guys."
LOL Larrabee must be some super secret success that only game devs like epic know about. I really don't see what about it excites them especially with nvidia and ati slugging it out. GPUs will be so awesome come time for next gen consoles.

Epic better make a good job of UT4 if there is one, unlike the **** we got that was UT3.

They'll be aiming for a repeat of UE3 for sure - aimed at next gen consoles and ready just in time for the next xbox launch. There was never any doubt about that.

I just hope the next gen consoles have enough VRAM to give us a jump to the point where textures are high enough resolution that any further increase will hardly be noticable. Other than that I expect poly counts to shoot up with tesselation use coming into full force.

I want true 1080 gaming on the console with at least 2x-4xAA and much higher textue memory.
