Halo and Gears of War2 are the closest I get. Kept playing them expecting them to get much better somewhere but they didn't.

I have to admit I tend to get bored of a game fairly quickly these days. funnily enough it tends to be games that are notoriously short, such as MW2, because I am expecting the game to end at any moment.

Cant' say I finished them....but thay are still on my hard drive and I'm trying...but these three games suck and are huge disappointments...

For those saying Bioshock 2, can you give some specifics on what exactly is so bad about it? If you liked B1, isn't B2 more of the same?

Man, reading some of these posts made me realize some of you have almost no taste in games... you might dislike a game but I don't know how some listed could be the worse game you have ever played...

halo 2... got it on the day it came out and didn't get around to finishing the six hour campaign until about a year and a half or two years later. Still plenty of campaigns from other games that I've never finished tho

The game is Steamworks, so it's the only way to get it really. If it had a DRM-free retail box version like so many other games, I would do just as you describe
