Completely different medium and expectations (this tired argument has been debunked so many times) - but yes, even on film jittery panning is quite evident.

If its locked at 30 I couldnt tell. The game plays fast, things blow up quick. Very smooth frames.

How about you try it first before complaining? I couldn't even tell and I usually notice fps under 30 in most games.

Same thing every time a game is fps locked, no one even tries it or believes people actually playing the game that it's unnoticeable... they just complain.

The Force Unleashed for instance... the cap is fine, it feels perfectly smooth, but oh no it's a horribly PC port because of it no matter what anyone says.

I'm one of those people that a 30 FPS cap drives me nuts. It gives me a headache to play it. The force unleashed - uncapped edition would've been great... but we get a lazy 30 FPS port...like our PCs aren't 100 times more powerful than the R_Rod box. ugh.

How can 30fps give you a headache? It is the industry standard, it is what the vast majority are playing the game at. I have heard that too HIGH a framerate can make someone nauseous, but I have never heard of 30fps doing it.

Force Unleashed played silky smooth, never drops from 30fps for me even with AA applied and it does not feel slow or sluggish at all. You're missing out.
