I wonder if it'll be possible to buy one of these back plates for a standard evga gtx 470.

The airflow could be improved even more on that bracket. video card makers seem to think they are supposed to run hot. This shows it's not that hard to greatly improve cooling. I bet they could even get it back to one slot without loosing cooling if they put some effort into it.
