Default How to manually install driver for 2 cards

Been looking for some help - have dual 9800M GXT cards.

Ubuntu 10.04

I have been able to manually install latest driver with patch for 196.36.24 for one card. All works well with the one card (GPU 0) and dual monitors on the one card.

The second card isnt mentioned (GPU 1) when I call up the Nvidia control panel ?

Fans are cycling on and off quite a bit (certainly more than with 9.10). But not 100% certain its GPU fan or CPU fan ?

Any ideas how to
1. Manually install driver against second card ?
2. Monitor fan operation to see if its the CPU or GPUs
