Seems like, I see a ton of events and a lot of different track names but the car list seems to be like 40 cars long, not that big. Maybe some more pop up at some point.

And yeah, 35-40fps on max settings with my new 5870 Nekro. Someone on the Steam forums pointed to a benchmark that shows a 5870 getting more than that on the same res and settings though, so it could be v-synch or something limiting my fps.

remember that ATI has weird way of doing AA, so I would double check that.

And also double check that Catalyst AI

Im gonna pass up on Blur and split second, im not a keen lover of arcade racers anyway with maybe the exception of Burnout Paradise. Looking forward to TDU2 which i personally think will wipe the floor with NFS world. Untill then Shift and Dirt 2 wilkl keep me occupied.

I get the same exact fps with my GTX 275, which is sadly a common story today. I basically got the game because it is a modern Mario Kart, and it does not disappoint if that is what you want from it.

Here are some screens of levels 2 and 3:

I'm not sure actually, I can tell you after I play it next time. I know there is a view changing button, so I assume so, but who knows really.

It's extremely arcade Slawter, it's like a Nintendo game, very simple and pure fun.

No. Either behind or on the bumper.

Runs pretty sweet on my 5850 with phenom 955. I was getting 50-60fps during this race. Controls pretty well, arcadey naturally but its basically very much like wipeout games. Pretty good presentation and I'm enjoying the racing. Works great with the 360 controller. I'm on max settings 4aa 1920x1080, vsync is off. Haven't forced AF though.

They have racing obviously, checkpoint progress and then also dealing damage to weak green cars. I played split second on the ps3 and I prefer this style of car combat. One thing I will say so far it seems fairly easy but I'm sure it will get harder.

Sadly true, looking at Bizarre creations trackrecord on the 360 and how this game looks i find it sad indeed that they wont do something similar to the PGR series for pc That would be awesome imo, theyre a talanted bunch of people.

Maybe their next game will be PGR on PC style... I can't blame them for wanting to do something different this time though.

Its a lot more fun online, I'm a little disappointed with the single player stuff. For some reason I was bored after a few hours. Online experience has been decent. I wish there was more penalty for just ramming yourself around a corner. connections have been alright, some cars you can see warping all over but most are pretty smooth. It's the power up hit that has the delay.

Was about 60 people online when I played 5 minutes ago. Got a few matches, best I managed was 2nd. So far decent PC port, it's lobby style multiplayer but no port forwarding or any of that required.

I did the same thing with this that I do with all racing games, which is play it for an hour and then never touch it again.

I really need to stop buying racing games.
