EP3 on the other hand has been too long coming. Granted it's not like they've been doing nothing in the mean time, but I don't know - is it really worth it releasing an EP3 at this point?
Dear god yes. I can't wait for it to come out.

THIS.

Waiting like this for "episodic" content is dumb. HL2 was the first game I bought when I built my PC back in Jan 2006. It's now over 4 years later and no EP3? Nice job on the episode style, Valve.

Offcourse I gotta admit that hl3 would be better than those episodic weirdo. But valve managed to make it right and ep2 is just great.
Shhh. Adults are talking.

This my view on it as well. Although i cannot wait for Ep 3 i have to say i am far more looking forward to HL3 which really should have been announced by now. In saying that there was a gap of 6 years between HL and HL2.

BTW There is no Half-Life 3. Gabe stated that before the Episodes released that the 3 Episodes make up Half-Life 3.

Not me... read the signature in the email. oh and his email is easy to get...

And according to Gabe Newell there is no Half-Life 3. Where you heard anything is incorrect. Half-Life 3 consists of all three Episodes. Episode 3 is the end for Gordon Freeman.

It better come to an end with Gordon Freeman flying into the sunset on the back of an Advisor.
