I upgraded my machine to Fedora 13 (it was Fedora 11 before). I skipped Fedora 12 because my NVidia setup stopped working and forced me do downgrade back to Fedora 11. I was hoping Fedora 13 would be a different case, but apparantly not.
Driver version in Fedora 11 that worked for me: 190.53-1 Driver version in my Fedora 13 setup on the same machine: 195.36.24 Symptoms are that the X server keeps freezing. Sometimes the entire machine locks up. Goodies in dmesg include: NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 6, PE0001 NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 6, PE0001 NVRM: Xid (0001:00): 8, Channel 0000007e NVRM: os_pci_init_handle: invalid context! It works like a charm, as did Fedora 11 so I'm guessing the hardware itself is OK. What can I do in this situation? I really dont want to go back to Fedora 11 in order to be able to work on the machine and Windows is completely out of the question. I've already gone thru all the steps in the stability issues thread with no luck. nvidia-bugreport is attached: |

Thats me also. Somehow I dont think the RedHat or Fedora people will put any resources into this bug. I'm typing this on my laptop now because my main desktop sits there with both screens flashing while being complete locked up.
Is there any Chance NVidia will look at this one? |
