AMD soon without ATI brand? just changing logo?
it might be trying to say AMD and ATI will no longer have seperate names; it will all just be called AMD in the future?

Here's a better article that says the same thing:
You're probably right about everything going to the AMD mantra. It will make everything more streamlined and easier to keep up with, plus they don't have to pay for 2 logos different logos for different parts.
Personally, I believe this is long overdue. They needed to combine the brands into one "AMD" a few years ago to avoid confusion. I have to admit that I will miss the ATI brand name, but it make things much easier for informed consumers.
It also means that they can sell their GPUs and CPUs as a total package now as opposed to 2 separate brands. It will make Fusion easier to swallow as well if you don't have AMD processors and ATI Graphics on a chip. Instead, you only have AMD processors and AMD Graphics. It makes a lot more sense.
