Even if the 360 does get a blu-ray version someday it would only be for movies, it would never be for games. No publisher in their right mind would make a game for a small section of the 360 player base.

What is a small base now/soon will be THE market in X amount of time. Cartridge -> CD -> DVD -> (Future) Blu-Ray

I am not talking Blu-Ray in general man, I am saying most people would have an Xbox 360 with a standard DVD drive, so no one is going to release a Blu-Ray game for it.

I think you're forgetting about who you are dealing with. We are talking about console gamers. They would be pissed if you gave them all the same hardware except a BD, then forced them to get a whole new console to play certain games.

I mean if they didn't mind dropping money on hardware, then they'd probably be PC gamers.
