Most of the Black Ops demo was that helicopter gameplay anyway. Not interesting in any way really.

Just saw a commercial for M&M Pretzels... sounds gross, but was a better announcement than 99% of the MS press conference today :\.

Rather disappointing press conference from Microsoft this year. We already know Kinect, and other games but slimmer 360 was nice. I was hoping to see Mass Effect 3, or new games and some upcoming Xbox Live Arcade games like Shadow Complex 2, etc.

Maybe more surprises coming in next few days or from other publisher's press conference, who knows.

EDIT: I totally forgot about Crytek's 360 exclusive game, Codename: Kingdoms. I'm really curious about this one.

They might announce some stuff outside the briefing to keep the briefing focused on casual gamers and blockbusters, but if they had a real AAA exclusive lined up it would have been there. The best they have is the Crytek game, and who knows what it is or whether it will be on PC or not.

Rumor is that Kinect will be $149.99... if that ends up being true then its dead on arrival. No one will buy an addon at that price.

Nothing in this world could make me happier than Kinect being another 32X.

NOTHING.

If it's true... that's disappointing. Should be under $100, bundled with Kinect Sport or something. $75 would be even sweet but I doubt it.

Yeah, I laughed when I read that it might be 150... that is ridiculous. Could basically buy a new game system at that price.

Don't think it'll happen. A lot of casual gamers will probably buy it and make it best seller. Look at Wii, the rest is history. Microsoft put a lot of money into Kinect technology so they probably going to make sure it'll success, just that it needs "real" games.

Even at $99 they're asking Wii people to pay $400 for a machine that might be better, might be worse, might be the same. I don't think that is going to happen.

The rush to launch the slim model might be to get as many people to buy it before they announce a Kinect bundle for the same price though. Even then, $300 versus $200, or maybe even less if Nintendo does a price cut.

GOD PLEASE FAIL!
