The Wii could be a one-off, these things are impossible to predict. This one has a much larger price point and hardcore reputation to overcome as well.

We shall see.

And besides, at least the Wii has a controller with buttons lol.

Watching those people at the conference today talk about a lack of buttons makes me laugh even MORE at this awesome ad...

Main issue with the Wii argument is that the Wii is a complete system for $150... the Kinect is not. Theys till need to spend an extra $200 for a console... make it a lot larger investment.

Well, supposedly the 360 Arcade is now going to be 150... but 300 bucks and it won't have a harddrive and blah blah blah sounds like poop. So basically you would to spend 450 bucks on a decent 360 and the kinect if the 150 dollar price ends up being true... which seems more and more likely since they didn't even mention a price at the conference... if it was a good price, they would have talked that up like crazy...

Worth 150 bucks good? I personally thought controlling it by hand looked horrible... holding my arms up and holding them on something seemed horrible.

Not to mention it being 2 products is off-putting to casual consumers as well, they have to buy both and hook them together.

Of course they could do a bundle, but then sticker shock becomes a greater factor.

I wonder how much those "games" will cost, full price probably
According to the article on Kotaku I just posted, 2 of the games ARE 59.99 lol... ridiculous.
