Man I was hoping it would not play like Battlefield. That's why when it was announced Dice would be making it I was not too excited.

still 4 months until the game comes out so they have plenty of time to polish things up. Its good theyre doing the beta now instead of a week before the game comes out like BC2.

I saw a TV commercial for Cod Black Ops last night and that games not even out till November!

Do you have to preorder to get into the beta? Or is there any other way? Will there be an open beta maybe?

I got the voucher in store, but I think on the gamestop website they say they will email you the code. Just check their website and read the details... it might only get sent out on a certain date or something. Not sure.

Pre-order only.

GameStop website up until a few days ago said they would start e-mailing out beta keys for online orders on the 18th. A day before the beta they changed it to the 17th, but probably only to make sure they didn't lose any customers wanting to play on the first day...they never really intended to start sending them on the 17th. I haven't heard of anyone getting a key that ordered online from GameStop, yet.

I ordered from GameStop because I had a $40 gift card...

found the code in my junk mail box. Just played a bit and it felt kinda funky. Its unique to Battlefield and Cod yet borrows from both. To me it was a bit more realistic and gritty feeling than either game. The guns are laser accurate and the maps are pretty claustrophobic, so you have play a little slower if you want to survive

Just played some more... feels like the worst parts of MW2 mixed with the worst parts of BC2 to form the worst FPS experience ever.
