Hi all,
It's a big mistery for a newbie to have 2 graphics cards and only one that runs. But not the efficient one. Is there a way to fix it or not? Thank you for your answers. Really need help! ![]() |

How do you have two? Do you have one on-board and a slot card? If so, just disable the on-board graphics in the bios.

No I can't! It's a laptop and no availability to disable intel graphic card. I know this problem since I buy this machine. There is no update for BIOS (for having this option), and with windows 7, OPTIMUS is needed to switch between the 2 cards. It's enough for open office but I have to forget playing and looking at HD movies.

Same problem as here : http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=152049
This is confusing! Had a 2-GPU VAio before, at least could switch in Bios... now no more... and the driver do not seem to handle this at all! :-( Hope we'll get an answer from NVidia soon ;-) |
