Lets see, how many GFW MVP conf calls we've had in the past 12 months...... ZERO.

It this was so important to them and had any credibility, I would assume it was in their presentation (on stage) at E3 last week. Can anyone give me the time code where they said this?

Microsoft is the biggest thing holding the PC platform back. Their GFW division has no clue what the xbox live division is doing. One division will put another out of buisness, just because of their internal corporate culture. They don't promote the company they promote a buisness unit only.

I have not faith in what Microsoft will do for it's PC gaming platform. I have a sneaky feeling they are only saying this now, because of what Valve is doing with their titles on the Mac platform.

But hey they could prove us wrong and release their first internal developed game in what 3-5 years?

Capping at 30 fps and dropping the resolution and upscaling it to HD resolutions is butchering a game in my book.

Crytek's Cryengine 2 engine is not new at all by now and you don't think it will also be butchered for consoles?

Alan Wake looks nowhere near as good as the initial videos, for the record. That tornado video looked amazing.

the most painful thing is that if you go your gwfl profile, you go to the xbox 360 live page. Talk about slapping users in the face for loving windows. If MS doesn't start giving a **** they might as well pack things in for windows gaming (wow, I wonder how many billions of dollars would flash and then disappear in front of the ms board of directors if that happened meaning all the royalties from hardware manufacturer's for example) and make the pc a productivity unit. Wow, if that happened we all go watch the pirates of silicon valley again and live those days all over meaning tech would suck. PC is and always be the pioneer to the console. HMM, how are console games programmed again meaning what platform in workstation format? DUH? MS better never god damn forget that is the pc that made their F*ck*n ass! So, with that said, I think I speak for the majority of the people here, start dual programming (not porting) your sorry *ss xbox 360 and pc games. If I remember correctly, MS has already made the software tools to make cross platform programming a breeze. I can't remember if it's the xna thing or something sounding like that.
