so i unearthed this relic called unreal tournament 2004. ![]() unfortunately, it runs rather slowly, given the machine ... ![]() the clue is most likely this: Log: WARNING: Couldn't allocate AGP memory - turning off support for GL_NV_vertex_array_range Log: WARNING: This has a serious impact on performance. now, i'm not overly surprised by the message as such, as pci-e is obviously not agp. though i wonder whether the driver should not offer some abstraction layer? or is the game just broken in having a hard dependency on agp memory? any ideas for tweaks/patches/whatever? |
