Better question: Is the game any more stable now than it was then? I love the game, but you could set your watch by the crashes (then again, my computer at the time wasn't exactly the most stable piece of equipment...).

$3 is damned temping...

I don't think either Deus Ex has ever crashed for me.

http://www.offtopicproductions.com/hdtp/ - only one I'm aware of

Personally I'm a purist and never use texture packs or mods on already perfect games though.

Also, I did test Deus Ex with a texture mod, but didn't like the look and uninstalled it. Original game looks better overall, mish-mash graphics suck.

One of the only games I have every played with a texture pack was Deus Ex: Invisible War... that one looks good.
