would someone be so kind as to post a english texture fix, please? i tried the one from GCW, but it doesnt seem to fix anything ... and for myself hex editing is out of the question. so if someone could post a fixed file that would be great, god only knows how long an officail fix will take.

Hex editing is pretty simple with a program like HxD, which is free. If you really need me to though I suppose I can try and upload my exe and config file somewhere... anyone got webspace? I would hate to sign up on rapidshare or something.

The exe is probably small enough to be e-mailed...

Just a few examples off the top of my head:

Fallout 3 - Menu button also does flashlight if held.
Gears of War series - Taking cover and sprinting are on the same button.
Mass Effect - Same as gears of war.
GTA4 - A whole mess of stuff from the horn to headlights to sprinting versus running.
I laugh because only one of those is sort of console exclusive (Gears 2 is still console exclusive, but you said the series). WTF used a flashlight in FO3 anyway?

They're all console ports. Find me a PC exclusive where one key does two things.

The two together are 13MB... I could send them as two separate ones I guess.

I don't think it matters though, as I am being told on other forums that you NEED to edit them yourself, as something about a hash file means you have to edit the bin first, which creates a file on your PC the exe is then modified to accept.

If you really can't manage a simple hex edit though, word is the cracked exe on gamecopyworld has the fixes pre-applied and it works.

I've never heard of this game until now. It certainly has caught my interest. I was in the teamxbox forums in the "other console and platforms thread" where there is a "Official PC screen shot thread" and I saw screen shots of this game and it looked fantastic. Too bad Steam doesn't have it yet. D2D does though, but I am not going to buy a game off that site.

Isn't the spacebar mapped to "default action based on target"?

No idea what the binding says, all I know is you can use it to autoattack, or to pull levers. So I win.
