I highly suggest Kane & Lynch for $5 to those who do not have it... it's a very rough around the edges game but it has a great style, good dialogue and feels like an interactive Michael Mann movie.

I'm thinking of picking up Force Unleashed. Has anyone who's played the game have any comments on how tight the light-saber combat is? That is by FAR my favorite element of any star wars game. Is it as good or better than Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast? Those are two of my very favorite games. If it's got good lightsaber combat then I'm in. If not I'll probably skip it. Jedi Outcast is like 4 bucks... definitely picking that one up. Loved that game.

Worse than Outcast and Academy. It's a pretty rough game, more about spamming lightning than saber combat. It's ok on PC since a ton of patches, PC is the platform of choice right now due to low price.

Also someone asked about Kane and Lynch. It's not bad, no where near as bad as Gamespots review made out. Has some really cool levels, but is plagued by HID bugs the same as FEAR. I grabbed it for $5 anyway.

Also don't forget Jericho is $1.69. I heard a few bad things, but for under 2 dollars. I'll give it a go.

PC version is console version with higher res and AA, nothing else... still looks good though, I think. Combat is monotonous and tiring though, the game just keeps spawning enemies that take more hits to kill until at the end every fight is an endurance run. Not the greatest game, it's the visuals and story (if you like Star Wars) that keep you going.

A few levels look really nice. The junkyard one is ok. I just fired up the Steam version with all the patches and it's a lot more playable since the last time I had a chance to try it.

Some really annoying enemies though. :: Just gimme a few hundred storm troopers to wipe out with force powers kthnx.

Is Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising any good? Is it worth $4.50?
