this comment probably belongs in the other thread, but it seems bleedingly obvious that microsoft is losing the "cool" game in the PC space to the mac, and the biggest "cool" thing that the PC has over the mac is gaming. I would be exploiting this if I was Microsoft.

First game sucked enough, don't really have a desire to play any others.

I would give the first game a 7... I beat it, it was okay. I heard the second one was a lot better single-player wise.

They want to give us an excuse to buy a 360. :
:I hate it when series skip a platform then come back. |

I really think they assume we will all play the 360 version if they don't release it on PC. I don't think the concept of "core" gamers who only play on one platform dawns on them at all.

I enjoyed gears 1 on PC, despite what some people say about it being a terrible port.
I wouldn't buy gears 3 on PC if gears 2 wasn't on PC.

Not to mention underestimating the PC gamers, that announcing "the best" X360 game is all they have to do. |
