First off I'm running GTX 480's in SLI with a GTX 260 for dedicated PhysX.
Well, I just noticed today (updated a few days ago to 257.21 drivers) that in EVGA Precision and also with Afterburner that for my GPU temperature for the 260 no longer appears and it shows to fan set at 0%. This scared me so I took a look and the fan is indeed spinning on the 260. However, I cannot change the fan speed with either program, and like I said the GPU temperature for the 260 isn't showing up at all. Any ideas? Tried reinstalling drivers, and evga precision to no avail. PC Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium EVGA GeForce GTX 480's @ 1451/3800 (SLI) (257.21) PNY GeForce GTX 260 (257.21) stock speed EVGA X58 3-way SLI Mainboard Onboard Audio Core i7 975 @ 4.0GHz

It may not be related, but a few folks had trouble with the fan monitoring and polling causing various issues. I finally just uninstalled it ( Afterburner) due to random bsods while gaming.

Yeah, I read afterburner had some issues. Its strange I just noticed this with precision, and gpu-z considering it worked fine before. I guess as long as the fan is still spinning on the 260 it doesn't matter.

That's what's odd, it worked fine for me on my 470 for a while, then I got my first bsod after about 2 weeks of using it steadily. After that it was all down hill til I uninstalled it.
Shame too, very nice piece of software. I'm sure it will get fixed soon. |

No, I haven't tried the new betas. I was using the 257.19 drivers before this one. I swear I remember the fan control working, and it reporting temperatures before yesterday.
I noticed it when I was trying to get F-22 Lightning 3 to work where I bought it on steam. I disabled SLI then opened up EVGA Precision to bring my fan speed back up to full throttle and that's when I noticed the GPU 3 Temp was missing, and the fan speed read 0%. Just now that I started the computer I have an "Important Update" from Windows for the GTX 260 driver which it didn't do before. So, I don't know what's going on. According to the control panel my GTX 260 is there, and is the dedicated PhysX card, and I checked the 260 and the fan is still spinning. No idea what caused this. Though I haven't tried uninstalling the drivers, running driver sweeper, and reinstalling yet. I was trying to avoid that since it's a pain in the rear. UPDATE: Just installed the 258.69 drivers, and still the same problem. Couldn't be a weird bug where I am not using the 3-way SLI bridge for some reason could it?
