Thats not the same thing. Nvidia acknowledges its cheats as bugs too.

As I recall it, at least ATi had the decency to not try and brag about it and say they'd been consulting with a moron on how to fix it for 2 months. ![]()

Actually, for PR related reasons, it would make sense to call it a bug.. calling it a cheat would reduce your customer base to crap...

Every company is only interested in one thing when things are looking down. Capital income, And Survival of brand name. Both ATI and Nvidia act the same when things are looking bleak. They will both take neccasary means to ensure the things I listed above occur. Nvidia sure as heck didn't "decide" To do what they have done over night. It was obviously done with alot of discussion about cause and consequence. And Neither does ATI. It's "easier" to call something a bug rather than explain it. Being objective about some of these things, would help alot of people understand that corporate companies are not very different when it boils down to the things I illustrated above. Expecially you digital. (No offense but you are the only person I know who literally hovers to every hardware related message board flaming Nvidia every chance you get, it's really hard to take you too seriously at times. You do it with such emotion there are times I actually can actually picture you raving and hitting the Keyboard at times) Again No offense really intended
