Default More Batman games in works?

Today, Superannuation posted a list of recently acquired domain names from the company, leading to some speculation that the studio is toying with new titles for the upcoming sequel to the critical and commercial smash-hit Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Given that it has been established that the sequel to Arkham Asylum takes place outside of Arkham Asylum, I don’t think that it would make much sense to call it “Arkham Asylum 2.”

Also, despite not remembering this, the internet informs me that Arkham Warden Quincy—an original Arkham Asylum character—was running for mayor of Gotham in the first game, so I think it wouldn’t be a leap to assume these registrations are related to the sequel.

If they could create a title with similar gameplay mechanics as Arkham Asylum but on a larger scale, ie Gotham City, that would be excellent.

A sequel would be awesome any way you slice it. It was such an awesome game for the PC that I would buy part 2 if it had the same type of game play and environment.

It would be cool to roam around Gotham City freely.

There are lots of copies on eBay, brand new for about $20. The game is well worth that price.
