Half of it is the consumer's fault for buying mass produced bull **** that large studios put out. Only indie studios put out original games anymore. Large studios are not willing to take the risk.

only 3 games have used the UE3 engine well and made it look unique and good! all the other games using the engine look exactly the same and dull

Mass effect series, mirrors edge and batman are the 3 decent looking ones

Gratuitous Space Battles is available on Steam for $5. It's one of the games developed by Cliff Harris. Buy the game and support the indie devs

Bought this as soon as I saw that sale. It's very different from most strategy games and not what I was expecting. Still pretty interesting though.

isn't bioshock 2 UE3? it was a good experience imo. not incredible, but still glad i bought it.
