Does anyone thing TRI SLI GTX 470 is worth it

I see in most of the newer games it gets a better booast ,It really gets a boost in all game .a average of around 20 to 30 frames more at 1920 x 1200.Or is it more just like showing off .

I just notice I did'nt even spell Think right.

It Kicks Ass, They overclock easy too but you don't need too.

You mean cool games, See them there on my desktop, These Tri-470 plays them all 1920/1200 everything maxed way above 60FPS, with vsync off. Plus I have alot more in steam that ain't displayed on my desktop.

I went ahead and got a third GTX 470 along with a new case HAF-X ,since I sold everthing I wanted on ebay and had nearly a grand extra from selling stuff.I know I don't need it ,but I had three GTX 280's and really did'nt need them ,but I got lucky with them because I sold them on ebay for what I paid for them.

Congratulations, Make sure you get MSI afterburner and set your fan speed, also try a overclock just for fun 775-800, 1550-1600mhz, 1750-1800 mhz You won't need a overclock to play any game at all thats for sure, I just do it once in awhile just for fun, to see what it can do.

Yes I have done had my GTX 470 SLI up to 824/3800,but I run it at 775/3700 when I play games ,just got my other MSI GTX 470 and case I wanted the Cooler Master HAF-X because it has 9 expansion slots and my three way will fit a lot better then it does with my HAF-932.Nobody needs three cards but it is fun playing with then and you can crank up everthing and still get good frame rates.
