Bland colour? The first two shots show tons of color.

Whenever I originally opened up this thread I thought it had screenshots from the first game in the post, lulz. Game looks horrible.

It doesn't look that vibrant to me but maybe it's the intended look.

Did they intend it to have colour variation like real life maybe?

PS seems to think so. Doesn't look bland at all, in the next two screenshots where it does, it's obviously intended for artistic reasons. Clearly though, the whole game is not like this.

It just looks a bit flat and bland to me, maybe due to the textures. The textures give the effect that it's bland, since they don't look bumpy at all.

Its out, anyone get it?

I m on the fence. Still haven't finished the first alice, which I've been loving. Reviews are about the same that the first alice received. Still probably going to wait once this goes into the bargin bin because of the inevitable poor sales. (Or if I buy it today my $$ goes to supporting more American Mcgee games in the future. Decisions decisions....)

You get bland colour? Maybe game is calibrated for consoles (hdtvs) levels of black with 16-235 ?
While real colours are 0-255. Ive never understood how was it working but basicly:

My friend have gpu with hdmi and dvi out(I have only Dvi) And we plugged hdmi output into 40'hdtv and dvi into his pc display.

Then set nvidia cp to extends onto hdtv. Play a movie and move window half to the tv and display. Then You will be able to clearly see that on hdtv colours will be bland, while on pc they will look good. Thats why good video players like media player classic home have 16-235 -->0-255 option...

But wait... I that case Game should be too dark if it was calibrated for hdtvs....
