the platforming and jumping on his game is ever so annoying and frustrating

You think so? I thought it was practically the opposite. Generous checkpoints ensure you never have to really repeat more than a few jumps. Jumps are usually pretty simple, later chapters are a bit harder but nothing crazy in comparison to other platformers imo.

The screenshots here do not do this game justice. I've played through this game twice so far. This game goes on my "outstanding" list. What an imagination to come up with something like this. I have such fun playing it, I can't even tell you. I just get into to whole "Alice" fantasy thing. Some of the jump combo's are a bit frustrating for me but mostly very good. I could play game critic on some things but I ain't gonna do it! This game is just too good to tear down. Positives are so good, talking about any negatives for me is a waste of time (which I could also say about a few other games that are routinely torn down in this forum). For me this game is a 9.9! Yeah you heard me. Some may not like this type of game but this could be said for every game as far as that goes. So be it, you like, you don't like. Mikey likes it! A LOT!

I'm to the point where you have to use your umbrella and quit out of frustration.. didnt' realize that the key bindings won't work if you change the defaults...WTF!!

aside from that, I think it's a very entertaining game. It's fun and the art direction is an outstanding breath of fresh air despite the low res textures.

the physX stuff is pretty cool too. I have it set to high and in the areas where there's lots of wind or what not, it's cool seeing her hair blowing around.

Only thing I'm not too fond of (aside from the key binding issue) is the typical unreal engine blurry textures/distance.

This was true in the original Alice.
