Default Possible to use 9600GT and QuadroFX 1300 in same system?

I currently have a dual monitor setup running off a GeForce 9600GT. I have another monitor and QuadroFX 1300 lying around, and I am trying to get them working in the same system as well (triple monitors). But it turns out the QuadroFX requires the 173.14.xx driver whereas the 9600GT is using 195.36.31.

I believe both modules show up as "nvidia" and would conflict. Would it be possible to rename the 173.* driver (maybe "nvidia-legacy") and have them coexist on the same system? If so, how do you rename a kernel driver?

FYI, the X11 open source driver (nv) won't work alongside the proprietary (nvidia) one. It locked up the system into an uninterruptible sleep.
