2nd screen starts to flicker during gpu acceleration
The whole second screen is washed out with a light color and flickers alot. Happens during 3D games and HD playback. Doesn't affect the running program (as I watch movies and play on the first screen), it doesn't happen right away (sometimes not even at all, seems random) and it won't go away with anything else than reboot.

Another reboot without changing anything, and works fine for now. Logs show the last Xorg session ending into "(WW) Jul 26 13:54:34 NVIDIA(1): WAIT (0, 6, 0x8000, 0x0000f50c, 0x0000f50c)".
Seems very, very random indeed... |

Today I noticed that trying to go from X to console after the 2nd screen has stopped working will result in X freezing and taking 100% of one CPU core. Nothing changes in logs when this happens.

Trying to restart gdm at this point gave a bunch of identical stack traces (log attached). Simply trying to stop gdm froze the X and the stopping command.

I hate to tell you this, but 100% of the time I have had these type of errors it was fixed by replacing some piece of hardware, the video card, memory, motherboard and once even the processor. I can't say that there was not a software error, but it was either not compatible with the hardware installed, or the hardware was actually bad. I think in every case it was the latter, no matter how much I would have liked it to be otherwise.
