I dunno what started this but I can see my desktop icons refreshing periodically every once in awhile and was wondering if anyone else had the same issue. I wonder if its from a windows update or with ie9 or something.

Yup, me too. I also get this little flicker about once a minute in the taskbar. Right side, in between the network icon and clock.

Go into task manager and see what's hogging your resources.

I have ie9 installed. Cant say I noticed any of the icons refreshing in the taskbar.
Then again, I keep the desktop icons hidden (I use ObjectDock) |

i dont have the taskbar flashing, just the occasional desktop icons i can see refreshing. It seems to do it when I have a web browser open the most so Im thinking maybe its a hardware acceleration process or somethin

My taskbar doesn't flash! Just the little space in between the network icon and the clock. Like 2mm of space flickers.
