Was it Space Hulk? Or maybe it was the later Firewarrior (i think) one where you play as a Tau?

I played Space Hulk way back in the day. Was probably a bit young to really get it, but it was fun none the less. Brutal difficulty though.

Firewarrior was the console FPS with the Tau.
Space Hulk is always space marine squads in terminator armor, there are a couple of versions.
Or atleast a old Amiga game and a newer DOS CD ROM game.

Should have cover system. Cover is very important in the RTS games.

DOW1 and 2 has cover actually, and a system of sorts to handle that.
Kinda like the days of old, you go there, and you´re in cover, like in Counter-strike.. you go to a cover, crouch, and BAM...
totally analog, seemless transition, no hard snaps or any of the bull**** coversystems entail these days.

Kinda wrestling with Mass Effect 2 and the infernal BS system they have there, consistently pissing me off.
glad we dont have to put up with that in SM.

Not quite sure what you said, but I think I agree. Maybe just take less damage in certain spots when crouched? Just like the RTS.

I was kidding, refering to most PC games where crouching behind something was good enough.
I wasnt really talking about SM as such.
