If they do release any 512 stream processor 480's, (probably named 485 or 490) then they will probably cost $600+.

The performance does get a little boost, but I don't know if it will be justified by the extra cost. These cards look like they may be better suited for computing and the extra CUDA cores. An extra 32 cores will be nice for computations.

Not sure that heat/juice is going to be better than a 480.
My EVGA step-up will end in 16 days. It is safe to assume that i will skip this gen.
