Default CPU i7930

Well in Rig #2 in sig, I been thinking on this cpu, because I have a 920 CO and really only good up to 3.78GHZ, I was thinking I should get to 4.2-4.3GHZ with the i7930, It will be watercooled On a feser 240 raditor with push pull fan setup with a 655 pump. I was thinking should I do it?, Just am kind of mad that I didn't wait for the DO steeping way back. I just always think about getting A DO, Maybe I will just have to get one so I can put mind to rest.

If you're dead set on getting above 4Ghz, that sounds like a good choice.

What are you going to use this rig for?

I tend to agree. Sounds like an expensive upgrade for little gain. But it's your money

Not worth the price. If you could sell the 920 on Ebay and make most of it back then buy the 930 from a microcenter if you are near one, it's worth it. Otherwise, no.

I'd say it's worth every penny if you play mostly SC2, if not, it's a complete waste.

Right around there. I saw quite a few on ebay and craigslist for around $120. Worst case, you make half of the new CPU.

Also, I'm in the market for an i7 so PM me if you do sell it.
