Which one is better , GTS250 or HD5750 1GB for 11$ cheaper ?
I've read that nVIDIA GPUs are better made ! and PhysX alone makes GTS250 a better buy ! and that nVIDIA drivers are miles ahead of ATI drivers ! What do you think as an nVIDIA fan sites of these claims ? |

I think you better wait until Nvidia launch Geforce GTS 450, 440 and 430 cards in a few weeks time. It probably will be cheaper and faster than HD5770 and GTS 250 price could be cut further or be discontinued.

I voted for the 250 because normally it can squeeze out a little more performance than a 5750 (though if you would have said 5770 like the topic said I would have said go for that instead). I agree with AthlonXP1800 that the 250 may be coming down in price when replacement cards are launched. The downside of the 250 is that it's older tech, consumes more power, and produces more heat. But it's still not a bad card.

8800 GT is G92 while the GTS 250 is revision G92b so they were able to squeeze some higher clocks out. Typically it's a little faster than the 5750 in all those benches.
