Default Next Project: Configuring Conky

So far, I'm enjoying the speed of openSUSE 11.3. It's going to take some getting use to..especially coming from a Windows' perspective.

I pretty much got my desktop the way that I want it to be, now, I am trying to configure conky--a lightweight system monitor. I will report back with my progress.

Are you writing your own config file for it Doc? I use conky also, the full featured one, but I've seen a few folks post their own custom config files for it too.

Naa....I really don't have the time to make a custom config file, but I am looking at samples, and combining just the very basic ones...

Nice. Ahhh, you're using KDE4.

Why aren't you using the 64bit version?

The 64bit version would be too slow on my laptop...

I like this Doc. I'm still using Ubuntu, but have a half downloaded Suse to try. I'm spurned on now to complete and install.
