Wow- pegged at 1MB/s dl rate. Never have I had such high DL speeds before. Usually jumps around, hovering around 700kb/s to about 1mb/s... never pegged at 1mb/s though.

Fire looks interesting in DX11
Honestly, I think the DX9 fire looks more realistic. I'd have kept the fire looking similar in DX11 but added far more smoke for realism. I think the DX11 with a lot more smoke might actually be the better way to go.

Looks good over all I think.

didnt bother finishing the benchmark

the main character kept walking into things which was very annoying and anyway the graphics dont stand out from any other game with or without DX11

A few benchmark comparisons.

Of course things will change when the game hits retail. The tessellated water effects probably looks very nice while in motion.

Yeah it was like trying to watch a gametrailers gameplay video, simply terrible.

I thought the water animations were horrible- then again I was using DX9. HL2 looked far better, as did a plethora of other DX9 titles.

Actually I think the DX11 water looks even worse than the DX9 water because its tesselation and reaction to the environment looked very unnatural and exaggerated.

Thanks MUYA. Should it be merged? I can do that if it would be the right thing to do.

Not sure. Maybe it's best to close this thread as all benchies are on another thread
