With the CE you get the soundtrack, book, and a plasma cutter that lights up.

I really don't see why there is such a big deal over $60 games. Next gen console games might be $70 anyway.
It's not a huge deal if the game can be resold. You own what you buy from Steam for life, so I'm choosier about what to spend.

Besides, how many other wind up on sale within a month or 2 of release? If I can't recoup any of my money I want end user reviews first

I was dying to get Bioshock 2 prior to release, but after reading gamers impressions...well...still haven't bought it.

i dont get why bioshock 2 got such bad reviews. i ENJOYED it. Enjoyed being key word. It didnt blow me away like the first one, but still muchos muchos fun. Easily worth 20-35 bucks, if not more, depending on if you replay to get the different ending...

Agreed. Bioshock 2 was enjoyable, not as epic as the first one though.

Having said that, I pre-purchased Dead Space 2 this morning on steam. Figured I'd get in now before they jack the price up.

I'm Aussie. They have a tendancy to put the price up around $80 - $90 US here.
