Default NVDVD is so buggy it makes M$ look perfect

Jesus I don't know why I even bother installing this POS is looks nice and has some nice features but I have 10% in actually using it. 1: 30% of the time I can't even launch the program with Invalid parameter. No valid skin patch was specified. and 50% I get horrible performance with it stutter constantly and 10% of the time once it play standard media it will no longer allow me to play DVD software. 40bux for this hassle NFW. Oh yeah and once the program stutters it will effect all other DVD software even after NVDVD is uninstalled

what version are you using?

I've tried nVDVD with 3 versions, and have had none of the issues that you are talking about.

Right now tho I'm using PowerDVD as it came with something I just bought...

Hell yeah. It's lightweight, has good skins and best of all - intuitive hotkeys. I did try PowerDVD 5 and I didn't much care for it. Although I said the same thing about version 4 until they started patching it so I hope it's the same for the new version. But for now I'm sticking with 4.0 or our set-top player.

NvDVD's newest error is unable to connect to audio device. Dont matter what version I am using. so I just gave up on it.

Read it might have somethen to do with my sound drivers. or Some third party sound codec, But I cant be bothered when Power DVD works perfectly

Im a WinDVD user, better image quality over PowerDVD IMO, plus PowerDVD doest support hardware accelleration with my GF3, where as WinDVD does

I've always had NVDVD work perfectly on every computer I've installed it on. I'm using 2.55 now and it never stutters or gives me errors. Guess it's just your rig man.
