Default EQ2 Classes

I'm going to give EQ2 a spin, since a few of my friends are trying it out for a while. We normally play WoW but it is getting stale and the new expac is months away.

I know the free version is coming, but I think that's about 1-2 months off.

I just had a question about the classes. What are classes to stay away from and what's good.

If someone were to ask me this question about WoW, most people would say "It depends on your playstyle" but the short answer is, the Druid and Paladin are really solid choices.

So with that, how is the Paladin and SK in EQ2? I tend to prefer Melee characters that can DPS or Tank. I like to switch it up.

Yeah, went to my friends...it looks dated. Funny how the graphics were pretty good on lunch but it just looked bad and seemed clunky.
