Another (maybe?) idea on how we all could help NV News

This is a quick and easy idea, and, I dunno, maybe it might help site revenue?

I'd imagine that when most of us visit these forums, we have the forum main page set as a shortcut/Speed Dial link etc...

If it would help the site out, what if we set that shortcut as the front page of NV News (nvnews.net, yup there's a front page!

)?? The forum would only be one click away... and the added traffic (I'm not sure of this) might help Mike and the site out?

Some feedback on this please?

I wonder what would happen if a lot of the regular users here switched from going straight to the forum to navigating from the front page to the forum.

I'm sure what's going on is the same thing as the economy and we'll just have to pull through.

Commodities like high-end graphics cards and pc gaming are luxury items and they will be the first items to decline in sales during difficult economic times.

NVIDIA's track record during the last six months shows the effects of consumer buying habits during this time. Their stock price dropped from $17 to $10 per share.

Thanks for that Mike and like you say is just a sign of the times. It's tough everwhere right now.The site will pull through even if we have to donate to keep it going. I'm sure we are no where near that yet. The site is a major part of some our lives, and we realy appreciate it being here. All yuo need do is ask us Mike and as said before the members would be only to willing to help out if we need to.

the other thing is , perhaps users of chrome and firefox could stop using the adblockers on their browsers while visiting nvnews.

Great ideas ya'll!

I always go to the front page first, and don't have any ads blocked. Only time the ads really bother me is when they become instrusive, which really doesn't happen all that often.
